As the sun has started (intermittently!) shining, and thoughts turn to holidays, let's have a reminder as to why ferries rule:
Relaxing way to travel with loads to do on board
Inexpensive
Take the car
You can take your pet if you like (depending of course on the type of pet - if it's a llama it's probably too big)
No waiting about for security checks and having to get rid of your eye wash bottle, or put take off your belt, specs etc and do the scanner walk thru.
No delays due to volcanic eruptions (like the one that had many stranded last year)
All in all - these are some of the main reasons why we heart mini cruises!
